Auction Formats & Bidding Mechanics
AuctionX provides a realistic, high-fidelity replication of actual professional sports draft auctions. Understanding the bidding mechanism is key to building a championship-winning squad.
Bidding Increments
Bidding follows a tiered progressive increment structure. As the player's price increases, the minimum increment value scales automatically to maintain a fast auction pace:
- Up to 1.0 (Cr / M): Minimum bid increment of 0.05 / 0.5
- 1.0 to 2.0 (Cr / M): Minimum bid increment of 0.10 / 1.0
- 2.0 to 5.0 (Cr / M): Minimum bid increment of 0.25 / 2.0
- 5.0 to 15.0 (Cr / M): Minimum bid increment of 0.50 / 5.0
- 15.0 to 30.0 (Cr / M): Minimum bid increment of 1.00 / 10.0
- Above 30.0 (Cr / M): Minimum bid increment of 2.00 / 20.0
Host Configuration Options
Hosts can fully customize each auction session to fit their group's competitive level:
- Draft Budgets: Choose starting budgets ranging from ₹50 Cr to ₹200 Cr for Cricket, or €200M to €1000M for Football.
- Bidding Timer: Adjust the countdown speed from 10s to 60s per player block.
- Squad Composition Rules: Enforce strict squad size limits (e.g., 11, 16, 20, or 25 players) and role requirements (e.g., minimum bats/bowl ratios).
